The unit has trained industrial hygienists on staff to help monitor air particulates and take sound level readings. There may be a minimal charge for air sampling.

Under state law K.S.A. 44-636, Industrial Safety and Health (ISH) consultants will respond to employee complaints concerning unsafe working conditions. The complaint can be made anonymously. If a public service EMPLOYEE has a complaint concerning unsafe working conditions while performing their job, please complete the EMPLOYEE Notice of Alleged Safety or Health Hazard form.

 Note: If you are a member of the public or a private sector employee and wish to report an alleged unsafe working condition, report your concern to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), who has jurisdiction over these issues.
