The Labor Market Information Services (LMIS) Division is responsible for collecting, analyzing, reporting, and publishing data on economic activities for the state of Kansas. Labor market information can help data users make informed decisions for a variety of purposes, including career planning and preparation, public or private workforce investments, employer recruiting plans and business investment decision making.

Bureau of Labor Statistics
The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) is a unit of the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL). It is the principal fact-finding agency for the U.S. government in the broad field of labor economics and statistics.
