Social Media Policy
An important goal of the Kansas Department of Labor (KDOL) is to support lines of communication with members of the public on various topics, including but not limited to unemployment insurance, workplace safety, employer and employee rights, labor market statistics and workers compensation. The use of social media enhances our ability to do this, particularly through social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube. KDOL offers Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube pages as a public service to the community, all of which can be accessed from this page.
Social Media should not be used to seek personal information or information concerning a specific claim. If a person is seeking support with a claim, please contact KDOL during normal business hours, Monday – Wednesday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Thursday 8 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at (785) 296-5000.
